Trekking with a friend...
I’ve known Bhuwan Shrestha for a long time and while I don’t remember any details from the first time I went on a short trek with him I do remember him being a great guy and very knowledgeable about the surroundings and the route.
The second time I went on a trek with him, which lasted almost two weeks. Already from the beginning it felt that I was just doing a trek with a friend who happens to know the way and speak the local language than an actual guide. He tailored the trek exactly to my needs; taking me to the best and physically challenging places.
On my next journey to Nepal it’s not a question for me if I need a guide for another trek. I’m just going to ask my friend if he wants to come with me.David Van Den Berg, Netherlands

So fortunate to meet Bhuwan
We were so fortunate to have discovered Bhuwan as our guide and interpreter for our two trips to Nepal in 2001 and 2003. We found he could lead us to the most fascinating and exotic places. We always felt confident in his care even during times of sickness and foul weather. He always knew the route to take and how to keep us safe. His mood was always upbeat even after days of cold rain and wet snow.
