Tibet, once a forbidden region is a land of mystery, adventure, spirituality, history, sacred lakes, holy mountains, age old monasteries and ancient trading routes. A trip to Mount Kailash and Manasarovara Lake is an exciting spiritual experience. The Mount Kailash along with the holy Manasarovara Lake is an integral part of spiritual Asia.  Mt. Kailash is sacred to the Hindus, Buddhists, Jains and the Bonpos taken as the centre of the physical and metaphysical universe. For the Hindus, the mountain represents the abode of Shiva. For the Buddhists, a terrestrial projection of the cosmic Mandala of Dhyani Buddhas and Boddhisatvas  which represents the Wheel of Life.

For the devout pilgrim, a visit to Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovara forms the ultimate realization of their spiritual quest and for the adventure-lovers it offers rugged beauty, wilderness and solitude. The journey starts from the buzzing streets of Kathmandu and heads towards a spiritual path to Mount Kailash and Manasarovara Lake.
